Clinical registry of patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
start of the project: 01/2007
DATOOL AML is a registry focused on the collection of data on patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Since 2014, it also involves the NAPOLEON registry, which collects data on patients with acute promyelocytic leukaemia (AML M3).
The database “DATOOL - NAPOLEON” is a new project of the CzEch Leukemia Study Group – for Life (CELL). The database was created in cooperation with the “German AML Intergroup”, and contains data identical to those in the “NAPOLEON“ registry, which was created by the above-mentioned German study group. It is a non-interventional, non-randomised, observational and prospective study monitoring patients with acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL).
From the very beginning, the DATOOL database has been defined as a very detailed database, collecting data describing the epidemiology, characterising the type of AML, treatment modalities and effects, follow-up after treatment termination, data on transplantations, etc. Furthermore, it also makes it possible to collect special data, such as data important for clinical trials of new drugs etc.
The DATOOL AML project belongs to a group of projects solved in cooperation between the Institute of Biostatistics and Analyses and the CELL group. IBA MU provides the technical solution of the registry and data analysis.
